According to legal filings, the individual allegedly involved in the attack involving media personality Charlie Kirk exchanged a series of digital messages with his cohabitant following the event.

Prosecutors indicated that the housemate notified investigators that the accused had told him to look under a keyboard where a note was reportedly located.

Authorities noted that the roommate was transitioning and had been in a close bond with the defendant.

When the roommate looked under the keyboard, a written statement was discovered that allegedly said: "I had a moment to eliminate Charlie Kirk and I'm going to take it."

Witness: "Are you serious? You must be kidding, correct?

Individual: I’m unharmed my love, though I’m delayed in orem for a little while longer. Shouldn't be long until I can come home, though I must grab my rifle first. Frankly I wanted to hide this through my life. I apologize for including you.
