The former president alleged an Aussie media representative of "damaging the nation" subsequent to being questioned concerning his own corporate ventures during occupying the presidency.

The US president faced a question from an ABC correspondent representing the Australian Broadcasting Corporation regarding the degree to which wealthier his net worth increased following coming back to office this year.

The reporter commented after the terse answer from Trump calling it an illogical claim that posing valid queries courteously would hurt relations involving the long-time friends.

"Personally, it seemed a standard step to raise questions that were not inflammatory," he told the ABC, noting his questions were reasonable, drawn from research and not posed in an abusive manner.

The network mentioned the queries were included in a probe via their investigative unit looking into the president's corporate ventures following coming back to the presidency.
